The rich and sweet sauce, paired with crispy fried rice and fresh clams, each highlight their own flavor, with a full and rich taste. The pan-fried fresh lobsters, paired with creamy soup, is also a combination of Chinese and Western, with a little bit of Japanese and Western feel!

As always, a real pleasure to dine at Le Jeu de Paume. Impeccable service, imaginative and delicous dishes and excellent local wine. Overall, faultless and to be highly recommended.

Excellent, creative cuisine at a good price.  Unusual flavor combinations and unexpected tastes.  Example, sea bass sushi with green pea emulsion and green pea sorbet. Really wonderful. Excellent service and a fine wine list round out the experience.  &ldquo;Worth a detour,&rdquo; as Michelin says.  We&rsquo;ll be back.

The restaurant is in the Hotel Parc Beaumont where we were staying. Service was attentive and helpful. The servers were fluent in English. The amus&eacute; bouche were well prepared, tasty and attractive. The appetizer of fresh asparagus and poached quail eggs were delicious. Our selection of entrees pigeon with fois gras and lamb loin were well prepared. The selection of corn as an accompaniment to the pigeon was odd but did not take away from the succulent bird. The baby artichokes stuffed with peas that accompanied the lamb was first rate. Desserts were creative but not as flavorful as the entrees.

The hotel is a great place to enjoy the best of the world.

This is a wonderful restaurant. If you get to Pau you should seek it out. Very different from any other in the City. A warm welcome, cosy atmosphere and most important wonderful food. The cocktails are excellent also.
